Tradition as we know it is and can be a good thing! It is also bad, because we often believe it is the only way, the truth, and the life. On the other side of the coin is technique. Ed Stetzer says that a church can rely on technique to an unhealthy extreme. He says that techniques are an expression of mission, but when our techniques work we can sometimes let them replace the mission.
