I have had the unique privilege to be in some meetings with the church expansion department of Northpoint Community Church in Alpharetta where Andy Stanley pastors. Donald Wise and David McDaniel are first class all the way in their view of the kingdom and their heart in helping pastors make a large impact in this short life. 
Andy’s church planting dream is out of this world! I love the philosophy and model of Northpoint and I personally see the impact they are making in friends of old and friends of new that are a big part of the mission there. I love the staffing there, the people there, and how my family feels when we worship there. It becomes even a little more up-close and personal for me because the church I pastored in Gainesville, Florida has recently merged with another church in the Gainesville area to become Anthem Community Church. Their pastor is a dear friend of mine, Chad Clemons. Chad and I both stand in awe of the greatness of God’s grace in bringing two independent congregations together for one mission. The “God-factor” that has been so evident from day one has been stunning! One of the neater parts about this whole deal is the fact that Anthem will be a strategic partner and church plant associated with Northpoint. Northpoint’s expertise and skill in the systems of church planting are proven and are working! For those of you who know people in Gainesville, let them know about Anthem. It will be the ride of their lives! Andy, David, Donald, Chad: We feel this new journey with you in the fabric of our being, as a family, and we salute you, love you, and cannot wait to see God perform!
