Planting a church can be overwhelming! There is so much to do and sometimes you lose the compass of where to begin. There are six priorities always on my mind as we get ready to move to Georgia!
1. Need a good staff team
2. Fundraising
3. Getting our systems in place
4. Recruiting people to be a part of our launch team
5. Staying relevant to the culture in NW Georgia
6. Family
Andy Stanley said last week at Drive ’08, “If we want to reach people no one is reaching then we must do things no one is doing.” Man, do I get that! We are planting this church for one reason: For the 88% in Catoosa County, GA , 85% in Whitfield, County, GA, 82% in Hamilton County, TN and every other nearby county that attend no one’s church on Sunday! That’s it! There are plenty of churches doing a good job reaching the other 12%, 15%, and 18% of people. Let’s go do it together!
