COAD (Community Organizations Acting in Disaster)

The COAD forming is a group that will work to accomplish and fund a coordinated, long-term, recovery and rebuilding effort.

The COAD is about Cooperation, Communication, Coordination and Collaboration.

All local area Pastors and Youth Pastors along with any other Community Organizations who would like to participate in the COAD are invited to come to a

COAD Organizational Meeting on Tuesday, May 11 at 11:30 AM.

Lunch will be provided.  We will meet in the Ringgold United Methodist Church gym (we think, just come to the church and we’ll direct you.)

RUMC’s building will host the “Long Term Recovery Center” for efforts in the disaster area.  The “Volunteer Coordinator Office” will be there.  Soon we will have a “Volunteer Hotline” for anyone interested to call in order that they may be the most effective and efficient in the gift of their service. That’s for both individuals and groups.

Please join us on Tuesday so that you can participate in what will happen moving forward and help us spread the word to other Community Leaders.

This IS NOT a meeting for the general public, but for Community Organization Leaders.  We will be able to communicate more to the general public following this meeting.

Thank you so much for who you are and what you do.  If you can not make the meeting but want to stay in the loop on the COAD you can (FOR NOW) contact:
