photo35I always treasured being able to call Dr. Falwell a friend.  I often ran into heshane-member21 and Duke Westover at various events around the country and I would always, out of courtesy, re-introduce myself to Dr. Falwell.  His response was always, “I know who you are.”  He didn’t forget many names.  This last week, Kim and I journeyed back up to Lynchburg to be a part of The Liberty Baptist Fellowship.  We are grateful for a new partner on this journey of church planting faith.  71002God continues His favor!  We also got to reconnect with a good friend, Wes Redman, who serves in adult ministries on staff at Thomas Road Baptist Church.  Wes was a member of our very first church, Mount Rachel Baptist Church in Dalton, GA.  He crossed the line of faith and gave Christ his life for ministry back in the early 90’s.  Our late and dear, dear friend, Louise Disney, his grandmother-in-law, so loved this guy!  We’re so proud of him!  It was also very somber to visit Dr. Falwell’s graveside; a giant that is truly missed!
