As we journey forward in our church planting quest, I have some thoughts that I’ve observed as I meet, sense, see, and talk to planters:
1. Some planters depend more on a template rather than the God factor.
2. Some planters seem to thrive at scandalizing a situation.
3. Some planters love to tout their living as close to the edge of sin as possible.
4. Some planters only know how to do church one way.
5. Some planters have forgotten that prayer still works.
6. Some planters have mistakenly bought in to “coolness.”
7. Some planters have not been broken.
8. Some planters have never fasted and prayed.
9. Some planters have never led their church to pray publicly for their people.
10. Some planters must learn that everything they are doing today will be done differently in five years.
