Have you ever thought about loving the word “virgin?”  I do!  It’s a rarely used word that really keeps my world exciting.  Here’s why:

  • I love to speak God’s word in places that have never heard it. (virgin territory)  Phrases taken for granted most places are so embraced here.
  • I love to travel to places I’ve never been
  • I serve a God who was born of a virgin
  • I love to listen to never-heard songs
  • I love to create new phrases
  • I love to create effective worship for places that have never experienced it
  • I loved seeing all of my children brought into this world for the first time
  • I love fresh chapters I’ve never experienced in this life
  • I love seeing new freshmen move onto campus of a great university city
  • I love watching an underdog team win the big game
  • I love hearing a never-before analysis of a piece of scripture
  • I love new hole-in-the-wall restaurants
  • I love new years
  • I wanted to marry a beautiful virgin woman and did
  • I had a goal to stay a virgin until marriage and did
  • I love new months
  • I love new days
  • I love new hours
  • I  love new seconds
  • I love new friends
  • I love old friends in new ways
  • I love to explore
  • I love new churches because they reach new people
  • I love visiting churches I’ve never been to
  • I love adding value to people I’ve just met
  • I love seeing a changed life
  • I love vacationing afresh and anew each year
  • I love new ways to “do” church
  • I love taking an old sermon and making it new all over again
  • I love new technology
